Hi,
Sorry to do a callback. I apologize for making a comment which is not completely relevant to this thread. But I want it here from a completeness perspective. if you don't care about patents/intellectual property protection, please feel free to skip this comment.
After thinking about it for sometime, I wanted to add to my previous comment regarding counterfeits and piracy. My previous comment was primarily written from a consumer perspective since I was thinking about the actions of the consumer @Draclor. However since we also have a lot of really cool designers in this community, I wanted to point out a couple of things.
While your designs could get copied (which I hope you get a royalty from
), this also means that you get to copy/build on top of the intellectual work from others. For example, patents / designs are primarily the main means of protection in case of blasters, both patents and designs are territorial in nature (i.e. protection only in the country where it is applied for). Most comapnies (hasbro, dartzonepro/prime toys/easebon) don't file a lot of patents in europe/germany.
So technically, you could look at a patent/patent application from a company which is 3+ years old (for example say this funky crossbow with a revolving drum from Hasbro) and make it in a product for the european market (this is a hypothetical case and may require further patent analysis*). Same goes for all the features in existing products for which protection has not been sought.

I hope this provides some sort of incentive to the designers here. In any case, if you ever want to discuss about IPR protection/clearance for your designs, please feel to ping me (not in a professional capacity). I can always direct you to a good law firm if needed.
Apologies for the long comment.
Regards,
Avinash
